Emma Louise Dance Club Uniform

Emma Louise Dance Club uniform is compulsory for all pupils. Parents should follow the guidelines below to ensure children are appropriately dressed for dance class. All pupils must wear the polo shirt provided & parents/carers must ensure pupils have the correct uniform as pupils move through the classes. Pupils who are not correctly dressed for dance classes may not be allowed to join in the class that day. Whilst we understand the uniform is an additional cost for parents, the uniform has many benefits the main benefit is so the teacher can see children’s posture & alignment clearly. This enables the teacher to be able to correct faults which may be hidden if children are wearing baggy clothes. To prevent accident & injury the correct shoes should always be worn & fastened correctly. (Ballet shoes should have elastic to prevent the shoe from slipping off). Wearing a uniform helps children to take pride in their dancing, making their dance classes even more enjoyable.

Rules for All Pupils

• Long hair must be tied up & back from children's faces.
• Jewellery e.g. big earrings, bracelets, watches and rings should never be worn in class as the can cause injury to the wearer and/or other children, (only small stud earrings are allowed to be worn in Emma Louise Dance Club classes).
• Please ensure children wear the appropriate footwear to avoid accident or injury.
• It is recommended that children bring a fleece, jumper or cardigan to wear to keep warm on cold days. (Emma Louise Dance Club fleeces or zip hooded jackets are ideal).

2.) Order In Class - Parents/carers can order items in class by completing a dancewear order form (A pink dancewear order form is in your membership pack). You can get the prices in class from the price list. Please pay for your items when you hand in the order form. Please make cheques payable to Emma Louise Dance Club (Sorry membership discount only applies when you order online).
