Is Your Contact Information Up-To-Date? Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring Emma Louise Dance Club has up-to-date contact information. Providing a correct, up-to-date mobile phone number ensures Emma Louise Dance Club can contact parents/carers quickly in an emergency.
Email Parents/carers are responsible for providing Emma Louise Dance Club with an up-to-date email address. We will contact parents/carers by email with term dates, fee information and other relevant news and information. Parents/carers should add [email protected] to a safe sender’s email list. Parents/carers are responsible for checking for email notifications from Emma Louise Dance Club on a regular basis. If parents/carers have failed to check email notifications, Emma Louise Dance Club will not be held accountable for any possible repercussions.
Class Fees Class fees are calculated according to the number of weeks per term, the number of classes per week a child attends and/or the number of siblings attending Emma Louise Dance Club. The class fee for the term is payable the week before term starts. The amount due and payment due date is sent to parents/carers by email. The whole term must be paid in full the week before term starts. Payment is made to Emma Louise Dance Club by bank transfer before or on the payment due date.
New members must pay the class fee within 7 days of their trial lesson.
Late Fees Payments must be received by the payment due date. Parents/carers will be required to pay £10 late fee for payments made after payment due date. Late fee is paid when making the late membership and class fee payment. Parents/carers should add £10 late fee to the total amount due.
e.g. Term 1 payment due by 1st September. Payments made before or on 1st September - no late fee. Payments made AFTER 1st September, from 2nd September onwards, parents/carers to add £10 late fee to membership and class fee amount when making the late payment.
If three consecutive late payments are received without prior agreement, membership will be revoked for the fourth term.
Bank Transfer Parents/carers pay Emma Louise Dance Club by bank transfer. Parents/carers can make a payment in branch or with an online bank account. Emma Louise Dance Club will provide parents/carers with the information needed to pay by bank transfer. Some online bank accounts will allow parent/carers to add Emma Louise Dance Club as a payee. This makes future payments quick and simple. Parents/carers MUST use their child’s name as a reference when paying by bank transfer so Emma Louise Dance Club can identify your payment. Depending on your bank it can take a couple of days for a bank transfer to clear. Be aware cleared payment must reach Emma Louise Dance Club by payment due date to avoid late fee.
Medal Test Fees Parents/carers pay a medal test fee for children taking dance exams. The amount due will be shown on the exam invitation email. Parents/carers are responsible for paying medal test fees on time. Children will not be entered for a medal test if examination fees are late. Payment can be made to Emma Louise Dance Club by bank transfer.
Debt Recovery Parents/carers should contact Emma Louise Dance Club to arrange a payment plan if having difficulty paying class fees. If payment is outstanding 14 days after the payment due date Emma Louise Dance Club reserves the right to exclude children from classes until payment is received. If payment is still outstanding after 14 days and parents/carers have failed to contact us Emma Louise Dance Club will take legal action to recover the debt.
Refunds Termly membership fee, class fees, medal test fees and costume donations are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given for unattended classes or dance exams. Refunds will not be given for classes which have been cancelled due to bad weather, illness or transport problems.
Refunds to parents/carers are paid by cheque, within 14 working days, minus £5 admin fee and postage costs (2nd class, signed for).
Cancelled Classes Emma Louise Dance Club may occasionally be forced to cancel classes at short notice. If we are forced to cancel classes due to bad weather, illness or transport problems we will inform parents/carers as quickly as possible by email or text or via Emma Louise Dance Club Facebook pages.
Exclusion from Emma Louise Dance Club Children and parents/carers must follow the Emma Louise Dance Club Code of Conduct. Continual rule breaking by children and/or adults will not be tolerated and will result in dismissal from Emma Louise Dance Club. Parents/carers who continually fail to follow Emma Louise Dance Club terms and conditions also risk having their child excluded from Emma Louise Dance Club.
Notice to End MembershipIt is parents/carers responsibility to inform Mrs Emma Louise Abel by written notice (email acceptable) 14 days before withdrawing a child from Emma Louise Dance Club otherwise the next term's membership and class fees will be charged. Text messages or messages sent through Facebook are not accepted as written notice to end membership. If you are considering leaving Emma Louise Dance Club please discuss your concerns with your teacher before giving notice to leave.
Emma Louise Dance Club Shop
Parents/carers can purchase Emma Louise Dance Club uniform through Emma Louise Dance Club website shop or parents/carers can shop and order in class.
Shop in Class Please pay cash when purchasing items or placing an order with the teacher in class. We will not order items from our supplier or dispatch in stock items until payment has been received.
Emma Louise Dance Club website shop Accepts credit/debit card payments via PayPal. Your items will be dispatched once payment has cleared.
Dispatch and Shipping Emma Louise Dance Club shop aims to dispatch items in stock within 14 working days of cleared payment. Out of stock and made to order items will take longer to dispatch. There is no postage & packing charge as parents/carers collect orders in class. When placing an order through the website shop, please type child’s name and dance class in the special instructions section at the checkout so we can identify your order.
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Emma Louise Dance Club shop will offer an exchange or refund for most items returned within 7 days. It can take up to 28 days to complete an exchange or refund. Returned goods which are not faulty must be in their original unmarked packaging and must be returned within 7 days of receipt. Emma Louise Dance Club shop will not accept worn clothing back, unless a fault has quickly revealed itself after initial wear. In such isolated cases the garments need to be washed before return. Unfortunately, due to reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on tights and socks even if unworn. Any Emma Louise Dance Club uniform items printed with the Emma Louise Dance Club logo such as t-shirts are non-refundable. These items are made to order. It can take up to 28 days to complete an order. Once the items have been produced by the supplier they are non-returnable, unless they are faulty. We will exchange these items but please ensure you order the correct size as it can take up to 28 days to complete an exchange.
