Uniform
Children participation in Emma Louise Dance Club classes must wear the official Emma Louise Dance Club uniform. Pupils who are not correctly dressed for dance class may not be allowed to join in the class that day.
Uniform is important because . . .
- It allows the teacher to see posture & alignment clearly. This enables the teacher to be able to correct faults which may be hidden by baggy clothes or unsuitable footwear.
- Wearing a uniform helps children to take pride in their dancing and Emma Louise Dance Club. This helps to make their dance classes even more enjoyable.

Buying your uniform directly from Emma Louise Dance Club ensures you get the correct items of clothing for your child to wear with pride in their dance class.
New Pupils
If your child is new to Emma Louise Dance Club we suggest starting with the essentials

You can wait a couple of weeks before purchasing your child's uniform, however, we believe children feel more confident in class once they are wearing the correct uniform like their fellow dancers.
Dance Box
What do you do with shoes, t-shirts & leotards that no longer fit but are in great condition?
Return uniforms to Emma Louise Dance Club and help out each other.
We have a dance box in class for second hand uniform items.
If you are looking for uniform check in the box. Swap an item e.g old ballet shoes for a bigger size or make a small donation (£2-£3) to keep an item from the box.
Dance box funds go toward costumes for our show.
